Seaglass Inspired Table Numbers

7/23/2017

My sweet, sweet friend Jenna is getting married on the beach in New Jersey in September and she asked me to help her with some table decorations to fit her theme (but not be cheesy beachy. Ha.) After some serious trial and error, I am pretty stoked at the finished product! Jenna is planning to display these by standing them up in little wooden trays and nestled amongst some pretty dahlias. My hubby will be taking their wedding photos so I will be sure to include a picture of the final, final product! But for now, check out the table numbers I made out of a sheet of clear acrylic, some spray paint, and a couple days of hand lettering!

These table numbers were created using clear acrylic cut into 3x5 pieces, krylon sea glass spray paint, and white acrylic paint

Hi Stephanie!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm not sure exactly how thick they are but they're relatively thin. About the thickness of a piece of cardboard, I'd say.

Okay!; Im looking to have these for my wedding.
Honestly was going to try and recreate them; since I have 20 + tables. They add up quick! Do you make & sell these?

Hi Stephanie ! These are gorgeous! I'm in the process of making these for my wedding on May 5th of this year. Can you please share what you used to cut the acrylic. I believe mine are the same thickness. Used a knife made to cut plastic to cut them into 4x6 inch pieces. Now debating if a jig sae is the way to go to get the edges on top? I'm scared it might shatter the acrylic.

How did you create the rounded edges along the top?

Just make sure that these sea glasses are harmless and everything will be perfect. These Seaglass Inspired Table Numbers are perfect for business because it's kind of unique. Combined with the right amount of creativity, you were able to come up with a masterpiece once again, and I am sure that many people will copy this once again! Just like what I have mentioned, it has to be safe first because you might be dealing with a lot of people since you will place it in your restaurant.
