When I was around six years old, I stumbled across a huge sketchbook in the hall closet of our tiny house. When I opened it up I discovered that it was filled with some of the most beautiful pencil drawings I had ever seen. All carefully crafted by my father. Up to that point in my life, nothing had ever made me feel the way those drawings made me feel. I stood in the closet flipping through page after page taking in every detail, completely overwhelmed. It felt like I had unlocked something. From the moment I pulled that sketchbook out of the closet, I have known that I wanted to create. I didn't know what and most days I'm still figuring that out but I have never stopped needing to make something that wasn't there before. And so-Forever Whitney Young. And while we're on the topic of great things in my life, I live with a sassy cat named Backpack and my insanely cute and equally creative husband named Nathan. Welcome to Forever Whitney Young. I'm glad you're here. Stay a while. |
