I love it when people ask me to draw them something, or when they ask me to do some calligraphy for them, or when I get the chance to take pictures or design invitations. But when someone comes to me and asks for all of those things? What a dream! So when I was approached by Lacy about putting my creativity to work for her two year old's farmer's market themed (omg so perfect) birthday party, I could hardly contain my excitement! Click below to see the pieces I made! You can't have a party without guests so the first project was to design an invitation. Since this was for a two year old, I wanted to make sure it looked fun and whimsical. I drew the vegetables and fruits and then painted them with watercolor. I then scanned them in and designed the invitation using Photoshop and Illustrator. As always, I got them printed at a local print shop and they turned out so great! Lacy also wanted a wooden sign to add to the decorations for the party. For this one, she provided a piece that was already painted (yay!). I drew out the phrase and then used a drawing projector to make the drawing bigger and started painting. Lacy told me that Ella loves berries so I had to add a few strawberries and blueberries to finish it out. My sister also made me some origami strawberries to add to the decor and I'm completely obsessed! After the party, Lacy asked me to take some photos of Ella in the farmers market theme. We set up the sign I created along with some other items at a local park and snapped a few photos of Ella in her tiny overalls and I almost can't handle the cuteness of it all! I had so much fun planning and creating for this party! If you are interested in FWY providing any (or all!) creative services for your next event, send me a quick message and let's get started!

Before anything else, I want to greet Ella a happy happy birthday. She is so lucky because the concept you had for her birthday was quite unique. The invitation was quite exceptional to that's why I have to commend the coordinator for coming up with this concept. Obviously, you have focused so much on the details because even the font of your invitation was well- coordinated with the whole team. I hope that the celebration will be a bomb!
